My wife Amy, our two boys and I have been living in Mequon for the past 2 1/2 years, but our family ties to Mequon go back generations. Amy grew up in Mequon and graduated from Homestead High School. Her parents also grew up in Mequon and were in the 4th graduating class of Homestead High School in 1965. It’s pretty amazing to know that our children will go through the same school district as Amy’s parents, her aunts and uncle, her siblings and herself (and currently our nieces and nephews)! Talk about an awesome family legacy!

I grew up in Brillion, Wisconsin, a small community between Manitowoc and Appleton where I learned the value of service and community. My grandfather served on the school board for many years and my father continues to serve as an alderperson.  Their service along with others close to me have inspired me to be involved in the community in order to make a positive impact.

As a family we take advantage of the many opportunities here in the Mequon-Thiensville community and Southeast Wisconsin to spend time and play together. We also enjoy traveling to Disney, the beach and up north to our family's lake house.
