Family
My wife, Amy, our three children, and I have been proud to call Mequon home since 2019, but our family’s roots in this community go back generations. In 2024, we joyfully expanded our family by adopting our daughter, and our sons are now in second grade and kindergarten at Donges Bay Elementary School. Amy grew up in Mequon and graduated from Homestead High School, continuing a legacy that dates back to her parents, who were part of Homestead’s fourth graduating class in 1965. It is incredible to know that our children will go through the same school district as their grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and mother—a true testament to the strength and tradition of this community.
I grew up in Brillion, Wisconsin, a small town between Manitowoc and Appleton, where I learned the value of service and community. Public service and education have always been a part of my family. My maternal grandfather was a dedicated school teacher, shaping the lives of his students, while my paternal grandfather served on the school board for many years, advocating for strong schools. My father continued this tradition of service as an alderperson. Their commitment to education and community leadership has inspired me to stay actively involved, ensuring that strong schools remain the foundation of a thriving community.
As a family we take advantage of the many opportunities here in the Mequon-Thiensville community and Southeast Wisconsin to spend time and play together. We also enjoy traveling to Disney, the beach and up north to our family's lake house.
